For over 22 years, our team helped develop and support the Xpediter records management system for law enforcement agencies. TenCode is everything we wished Xpediter could be, built from a blank slate.
Two decades in the patrol car and the records room
We spent more than 22 years helping develop and support Xpediter for the agencies that rely on it every day. We learned how officers really write reports, how supervisors review them, how records staff keep everything straight, and what state reporting demands.
We also learned where a design from the desktop era holds an agency back: reports that can’t be written reliably from the car, rigid screen-by-screen entry, state reporting handled as an afterthought, and security that has to be added on rather than built in.
Why we started over
Instead of patching an aging system, we started fresh. TenCode is designed and built from the ground up as a secure, modern web platform. It works from the patrol car, checks NIBRS rules while the report is being written, and serves every agency from a single, continuously improved product.
What carries over is what matters most: decades of hard-won knowledge about how agencies actually work.
